i never saw US boomer shitcoms like the honeymooners or i love lucy, but i've seen friends and the big bang theory, and i never found any of that shit funny.

not that i'm saying UK comedy is better, despite bongs saying so.
i've seen blackadder, red dwarf and a bit of monty python, and again, it's not funny.
the fact that these UK and US series have laugh tracks should tell you what you need to know about the jokes.

the only UK comedy series i actually like is the inbetweeners and that series has actual swearing and doesn't have a laugh track, so the jokes and lines have more punch and feel more natural.
