Venting Birthdays are always ropefuel for a lonely, virgin, kissless troll - worse this year

my birthdays coming up in a few days. Normally, I just spent it with my parents and sometimes my sister, as I don't have close enough friends to spend my day with. This year, I moved to a different state for a new job, and parents are hours away. I have nobody to hang out with for my birthday

never been sure about my birthdays although a more familiar and extreme dissociation seals the deal. try to treat yourself the best you can mentally afford by storing reward fuel for when you know exactly how you’ll be down, maybe a little something.. i think attitude directed towards the self is inescapable and purely brutal, if you can handle that then you’re moving the chronic thresholds, which if we’re being serious scrapes the outer surface

I feel you man, I just had mine. It is better to just minimize and downplay birthdays, anything you do to "celebrate" it kinda feels flat and fake.

But when people do remember that always feels nice.

My birthday was a month ago. It was absolutely brutal since I also had an argument with my mother. That day seems only to remind me of how my life is passing right by me, and of the contrast between my life and that of others—who get to celebrate and enjoy it as a special day, not one of misery.
