I dress to create fear.
I wear all black clothes, combat boots, combat gloves and tactical belt.
I often have a combat knife on my side.

Why you may ask.
What is the point?

Well, it’s a long story.

The short summary is that I do it to deter aggression.
I’ve been the victim of violence many times.

That is what people don’t get about me.
What is the reason for the things I do, why I think the way I do.

Every time I step out my door, I am stepping onto the battlefield.
Ready to rock at any time.

Truthfully I am traumatized.

I just don’t know if I’ll ever be able to let my guard down and smile and laugh……and let go.

In a way, this also backfires on me.

People don’t understand my reasons.

So they misjudge me as being a psycho.

But if you be my friend, no harm will come to you.
