I decided to join the American military.
I dropped out of my Freshman (this) year of community college.
I want my own money, and I want to leave home, as I don’t get along with my parents.
But most importantly, I want to live. I want to try something. I want to become my own man. Write my own story instead of being a leaf in the wind.
I chose a path that is support and not combat, and has a good work life balance.
So not the Marines or the infantry or whatever like that.
I think most likely I’ll be working at a desk in America.
I plan to start in the summer.
I don’t want to be stuck in my hometown seeing my old high school classmates and friends life mog me this summer telling me about their great life and parties and whatever.
I know it’s probably not a good idea, but I don’t care. If I make a mistake, at least I did something.
I’ve decided it’s what I’m going to do. It’s better than NEETing. And who knows, maybe I can ascend by doing it too.
Since I’m starting from 0, I have nothing to lose.
What do y’all think though?
