Been thinking about getting total war warhammer 3 with dlcs. Or perhaps rogue trader. But I'm not sure if there are any good warhammer games right now.

1 and 2 were alright. I heard 3 was complete dogshit.
1 was amazing, 2 was alright but more of a diablo mixed with rts than a real rts, 3 was more of a 1 but in a bigger scale but with weird gameplay that had moba turrets, lanes and abilities honest i liked it more in MP than 2 since in 2 you would be just spamming vehicles/terminator and win each game it had the worst MP of all rts games i have played absolutely attrocious balance. Orcs were only nation that had useable AT infantry units, that you would also easily recover using a truck.
Just a warning since I fell for this before and bought a total war warhammer
You specify 40k in the title. This is the era with space marines and all the space era factions
Total war warhammer is NOT the year 40k and is way before. There is no space marines or anything like that. Humanity hasn't risen. Unless that's what you are looking for don't get it.

or just play tabletop like a trucel like me
I only have played space marine 2, and space hulk deathwing, I like both of them but space hulk is dead and very difficult
