RageFuel Being likened to CGI film characters without explanation

I remember once, I got likened to Gollum from Lord Of the rings. Based on my appearance. They didn't explain why. Like; Hurt my feelings by calling me ugly. Sure. But to hurt my feelings and leave me paranoid?! Come on man.

At least when I was just standing around one day, the day that a male of a female-male couple, told his GF that I look like a Snail looking guy. I knew that he was referring to my eyes not being symmetrical.

My guess is that it's because a lot of CGI characters look lifelike but not quite realistic. They are in a middle ground between non-human and human which makes people feel uncomfortable. It's the Uncanny Valley and it could be the reason why people are disgusted and made uncomfortable by ugly males.
