I think a more accurate term then stupidity would be willful ignorance.

The amount is small enough to make no meaningful difference to our chances of getting laid, but because transsexuals are so sacred to the american people, fostering a conflict within the trans community, a split between FtMs and MtFs, would create a political dilemma for the people I consider my/our ideological enemies. And it would potentially create a group of hurt, disenfranchised former women who suddenly had an interests in talking about male specific problems (at least those of them who manage to pass as a man in everyday life) but who at the same time have both the general pro-female bias of society and the pro-trans bias of progressives on their side.

Outside of political considerations, seeing women fuck themselfs over because they are convinced being a man would be oh so pleasent an experience is a very cathartic form of revenge.
