Fascism is the only way to develop a nation. Its the only way to advance a nation that is developed.
Eg.. say you want an electric power system with $billion dollar plants and transmission lines and substations and grid. It has to be the state funding it with printed money and then contracting out the work to private contractors.
The state also has to have dictatorial power to determine where the plants go, where the lines will go, and to ram through the grid over local opposition, and vested interests fighting against it.
These buildups might last 20-30 years, so beyond where one politician would be 'in power' in a democracy. So it requires a government that doesn't change to manage it.
The state has to be able to set pricing/back the loans/be able to write them off.
Private investors would never invest like $500 billion in Sri Lanka to develop a power system. Not that I blame them, it would be too risky.
Its the same with highways, water and irrigation systems, mass public housing, basically pretty much most of the economy.

none here. Don't ever remember seeing one here. And I have only known one Sri Lankan in my life and it was a foid a decade plus back.
