I actually got a tape measure out and was surprised by how short 6ft actually is. I'd say the average young white guy is around 6ft2. Under 6ft is bottom 20 percent.
They probably include old men in the averages

You people act just like women. You only think the average height is that tall because you only pay attention to the tall and beautiful people. Go to a place where socially inclined people (i.e. good looking tall people) don't hang out, such as school or a bank. Then count the number of males taller or shorter than you. You will find that it matches up pretty well with whatever percentile your height is.
The only way to know is what average is to see what women date.
