When did you guys stop making close friends irl? For me, 13-14. I've noticed lots of inkwells start struggling with socializing by the start of high school, by the end of it the majority are giga social outcasts. My friends before 13-14 liked doing activities with me that didnt involve social rules, the only ones that had rules had girls what a surprise!! Once i finished elementary i barely had any close friends. in middle school i had some friends but we never hung out, but we did text outside of school a lot so it wasn’t so bad unlike high school.

I tried to make some at my final year of high school but everyone was already with their friend groups so they weren’t interested in making anymore close friends.The other loners didn’t want to talk much and were fine being alone.

i had a friend who bitched about wanting a friend group but he never wanted to hang out with me and he legit got no friends other then me but i would say we are just aquitances since we barely talk outside of school

In Kindergarten i was "friends" with pretty much everyone.

In Elementary, it was most of the guys from Kindergarten. I had like 25 friends, including several girls. Mostly from class and other classes. And weve played a lot even outside school. The Internet wasnt a thing and we all lived close.

In Highschool I only had like 4 friends and outside Highschool it dropped to only 3 more friends (1 neighbor and 2 guys from Elementary).

I lost all these friends pretty much when I changed that Highschool to another. The last friend I made was with 12.

I had about 4 "aquaintances" till 20 yo.

Now, I have no one.

Ive tried Workshops and "Friendship" Apps, none of this stuff ever worked.

If you have no close circle beyond 18, its over.

I had a good friend group in elementary school, but I was still the least important friend who was first to be forgotten about. In middle school I was close friends with this special ed guy, but after middle school our friendship fizzled out. Age 14 was the last time I had a “real” friend. I’m 19 now, and basically am only close with my parents. I can’t form connections with the outside world.
