Knowing the good life, losing it and being unable to get back to it is imo worse than never having tasted the good life at all.

It's probably better to be a lifelong incel than to ascend, then descend and then spend the rest of your life missing that beautiful thing you lost, while being unable to re-ascend.

This is why even though I'm desperate to ascend, a part of me is afraid of ascending. Because even if I do find a GF, I'll most certainly screw up because of my lack of experience in dealing with women.
