I'd often look back on myself and realize that mentally, I've barely changed. I'm still the same as I always were. I may grow up a bit, but at my core I don't feel much different as I did from myself 2-3 years ago.

Temperament, Agreeableness, neuroticism are fixed for the most part by genetics alongside other traits. My views changed, but my operating system remained the same.

Mostly feel like I'm still roughly the same person I was 5 years ago. I certainly don't feel my age due to my post high school burnout/NEET status and never having either been in a relationship/gone on a date/not had sex in my entire life.

i like to think im still the same person i am growing up but my environment, the people around me, the way people treat me are what shaped me into becoming this way.

i feel like i never fully mentally developed unlike those who reached social milestones, i just feel mentally behind. i had so much naive hope growing up hoping that things would somehow just naturally fall into place.
