I've not actually seen this series and probably won't watch it because I don't feel like watching a lot of anime now.
Unlike a few years ago where I would binge watch black blood brothers, school days and welcome to the NHK.
But from what I read about Armatidge III from Wikipedia and TV tropes, the setting, story and characters sound very based and relevant to our current cultural climate
The manga and ovas came out way back in the late 90s and early 2000s too, back when anime and manga were actually good and not cranking out isekai, high school, medieval fantasy shitslop.
Anyhoo, Armatidge III's premise is as follows:
In the year 2046, humans successfully colonize Mars and establish colonies and domed cities.
Mars itself is a colony of Earth.
Speaking of earth, the planet is ruled by a feminist government (stay with me here), all foids are super-privileged, every political figure on Earth is a foid. (oppressed gender moment)
So when the time comes for humans to colonize Mars, not many foids want to go, which prevents the colony from establishing a population needed to declare independence from earth.
Many men are extremely dissatisfied with this, so a Mars-based corporation called conception created android that can get pregnant and give birth.
These androids also have the faces of young girls and the bodies of adult women.
So, a massive wave of Earth men eager for non-feminist sexual partners flock to Mars.
When this feminist government on earth discovers this, their jealousy and fear of being replaced, leads to them demanding that Mars eliminate these androids or be completely annihilated.
These androids become illegal, but some still exist, although their considered fugatives and peoe want to destroy them.
This is all backstory shit, the main plot is this tallfag police officer named Ross who gets a new partner called Naomi Armatidge., and they investigate the murder of this country singer foid.
I don't want to go into anymore details in case I spoil the plot for anyone who wants to watch this.
And btw, one really based thing about this series and something that will certainly make agecucks seethe is that Ross is meant to be middle aged and Naomi is meant to be like, in her 20s, but looks younger.
Spoiler: their a couple, they both fuck.
So yeah, don't really want to say more about Armatidge III.
It's a cyberpunk-actioning series that has a feminist government all pissed off because sexdroids are replacing them and are threatening mass genocide of Mars's population if they don't destroy the androids.
That's a very original and very relevant synopsis for a cyberpunk story, and of course, because of cucked and kiked modern (tr)anime is, they won't do something similar to it.
But don't worry, they'll still shit out plenty more highschool anime, isekai anime and l medieval fantasy anime.
