Ameritards don't understand that there's no such thing as free healthcare in Europe. I have to pay 90 euros a month for a service I don't even use and if I do ever end up in a hospital, I am still fucked because I'd need to pay most of the bill myself. I recently visited a specialist once for minor eye surgery and I had to pay all of it myself, none of it got covered by the insurance even though the amount of money I pay a year in insurance is higher than the cost of the surgery I had.Oh no, someone wants to make health care cheaper! Also, I don't have a job which means I am forced to lend money from the govermnent to pay insurance because insurance is compulsory here. I'll have to pay all that money back someday. I covered all the costs of that surgery myself (with money I just so happened to have saved up but was planning on using for something else so that also sucks). The thing is that I'm young and will most likely never step foot into a hospital in the next decade or so, I don't need insurance nor can I afford it so it makes no sense to force me to pay it. The government is basically forcing me to be in debt.
