Title. 99,9% of anime characters have eurocentric features and seeing anime where the characters look mongoloid are extremely rare. Can you think of an anime, maybe not a completely unknown one where that applies ?

No I don't think they're Eurocentric, when you draw realistic art of those characters keeping the same proportions you'll realise they actually do look very asian and artists might've taken inspiration from real Asians. I any anime in which there are no characters with colored hair or eyes, the characters feel more asian like Welcome to NHK.
Their eyes, skull shapes, noses, etc. are all eurocentric.
The Japanese have an enormous inferiority complex towards white people and consider whites, perhaps with a slight asian influence, to be the ideal look.

Most of Under Ninja's character designs resemble how Japanese people actually look as well.
It's the same with japanese games really. Just look at Cloud Strife. He has mainly a white european face shape with some slight mongoloid admixture:
Like 60-70% of anime has characters that are clearly meant to be Asians with just a little artistic stylization I'd say.
Though when it comes to anime where it's more obvious, I see that no one's mentioned Gantz yet.
Or when you use gen AI to create real-life Asian versions to them and you see how little change is needed for that.

I used to be a believer in this explanation, but the more I think about it, the more it just feels like an attempt to give East Asians something to claim (indirect) white oppression over. I don't think I've ever seen the "Default Human" theory defeated in this discussion, and people claiming that any anime character that doesn't look like a photorealistic average East Asian is white really don't help debunk it
