... face it. A lot of us feel like we're going nowhere. Lots of self hate and LDAR mindset.
When we feel like there's no hope and someone comes along painting a nice picture of their respective religious or political ideology and offers us to become a part of that picture, the temptation can be strong.
I've had my share of run ins with gangstas, commies, far right, new age, etc during my youth. All offerings their ideals as a solution. To make me part of something bigger and give my life a greater meaning. Is the common denominator.
Now as someone in my late 30s, I'm like screw it all and just am basically have a more detached view on politics and religion. I don't get caught in anymore to the hype and how they try to inflate or minimize things so as to underline their respective positions.
What are your thoughts on this?
