It is one of the most common cope mechanisms? I see what you mean but its just what incels do. Maybe not necissarily cope for them buts its obvious cope. Foids on the other hand use it as a "get out of jail free card" by deflecting and saying they will change eventually. Even for the ones that say they are "waiting until marriage" will most likely cheat after doing so.
