Discussion Anyone’s Metabolism Slowing in their 20s?

I’m almost 20 now and my appetite has slowed so much, I can barely finish meals I used to eat very quickly in my teens.

Nope, I’m almost 20 as well and have to eat 3,500-4,000 calories a day just to maintain my pathetic 155 pounds body weight. I was 159 peak but accidentally lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks from bad sleep and my fast metabolism and it sucks

you are either miscounting your calories or you have an extremely rare medical condition (unlikely) or you are very physically active (fakecel trait)

I have a medical condition and I have to take laxatives every day for life to not die. My intestines don’t work right and without meds they wouldn’t process food and I would die, and obviously they also don’t absorb nutrients as well.

Plus I have a super fast metabolism. And also I’m very active.

It is, just today my intestines were burning in agony from the medications I have to take. Usually I feel relatively normal and under control, but occasionally the laxatives build up in you and then finally take effect all at once, and the pain inside your body is unreal.

It feels like some harsh chemical is flowing through your intestines (and that’s actually basically what it is).

Yeah it’s fucked up. And there’s only like 200 active users out of all the members, and most don’t even post much. It’s always the same 20 or so that you see in replies to threads

Yeah I am late 20s and have to watch what I eat now, and I currently cannot exercise at the moment due to reasons.

My older brother has also got a belly on him cause he eats like shit
