good luck i guess

I'm studymaxxing starting in August, I will gymmaxx too and hopefully ascend before I turn 25.

Good luck bro, what programming language are you learning?

I try to study 6 hours everyday but for the past week I have been slacking a bit. One reason is because I saw some exam in my country and was like " Wtf this is easy as hell is this for real ? ". I had been taking alot of stress lately. Guess I just needed some rest time.

Apart from that the previous month I studied for like 7 hours everyday

I code in python for my internship all day, and then I work on android apps as well in my free time. I'm constantly coding.

I'll learn algorithms,Java and big data tools like spark, flink, data warehouse

How old are you? will you be able to get job just by knowing that? I think I would need a certificate to prove my abilities

27 already,I have some work experience,I resigned my job several months ago,I need to studymax to find a better job

you don't need a certificate to get a job I think,I have a degree unrelated to computer science, began to code only after graduation

I worked part time when I was 23 as a website programmer. I am 28 now, and am about to do data science profesionally. I started coding when I was 11 so I have experience with a lot of languages, as well as a scientific background.

27 years and no one to put in a jutebag. :cryfeels:

I hope you get a good job, moneymaxxing has benefits even if it doesn't bring you foids.

The job positions in my field are 2800 eur a month minimum when starting out, but you can climb really quick. I think after 5-10 years you can be at 5000 eur/month

which country do you live in? do you graduate at a famous university

The Netherlands. All universities are about equal level here. They all have strong and weak points, depending on field.

honestly speaking,I don't think this salary is high in western Europe

honestly speaking,I don't think this salary is high, even big companies in my shithole can pay better, big companies(Alibaba, tencent, huawei, tiktok) give master graduate newbees packages like about 40000 eur per year, one of my highschool classmates graduated only 2 years and got paid 3400eur per month, got 52000eur per year

but of course, here in my shithole you have to work longer hours, many big companies have 995 work schedule

Good luck. I'm learning a new language and, while I am making progress, I'm taking my sweet ass time.

Aren't you a doing some PHD course in Biology? Or are you preparing for some curry entrance exam? :feelscomfy:

Who said I was doing a PhD? I'm just a first year student who has barely touched the surface of this subject. I do want to pursue a PhD tho.

As for curry entrance exam I will never be caught dead giving them. I don't want to be a government wagecuck.

I might give the entrance for PhD here because I probably won't be able to get admission in foreign universities for some reasons. The exam I saw for PhD was pretty easy ngl, I was actually surprised that it was so easy. I hope they just give me the lab to myself and won't bother me with any curryland bullshit and let me do research in peace.

The education system in curryland for biology atleast is incredibly bad. For that reason most people who pursue biology in India get stuck in India, it's like the system was designed to keep people within the country and designed very poorly. Maths isn't even in our coursework ffs. That's why most people interested in biology do PhD here then do a Post doctoral in some good foreign University or research institute.

Completely agree. Some foreign unis don't even recognise curry courses or academic certifications especially in the field of medicine.

I also program with Java

I wish I did that. I'm close to that age. My degree is also not coding related but I never got myself to do it.

Let me give you a piece of advice youngfag. Do your gradschool from a good prestigious foreign university with a strong biology program.

To begin with most foreign universities don't recognise my degree

Second mathematics isn't in my course work so im automatically excluded from many colleges that recognises my degree

Third, they require you to have good grades in your college. Now in curryland getting good grades ( as far as I have seen ) is not about knowing the content of your syllabus it's about doing mindless assignments and filling up hundreds of pages with useless details. I don't want to do assignments I rather want to learn. I don't want to spend time in college and be like those retarded curries who get degrees but don't have a bit of knowledge. I was talking to my teacher on some topic and he wasn't even aware of isotope effect ( something that is one of the most commonly exploited property of isotopes in research ), I have no idea how they got their PhDs. Some of them put an algae under fungi, they still teach about mesosomes even tho it's proven that nothing like that exists in bacterial cells. It's like they don't know what they are teaching.

Fourth, it seems that everything is against. Now what should I do? I could publish research to get better chances of getting accepted in foreign universities ( although that wasn't my motivation to do research originally ) but guess what they don't allow under graduates to do research.

To top it all of due to covid my admission was late and the University decided that they are going to shorten what used to a 6 month semester to a 3 months one? Wtf is this? How am I supposed to learn 5000 pages worth of information in 3 months? It's impossible

All of these things became a source of great stress for me. I developed severe insomnia and now take meds so I can live properly.

I truly hate this shithole

Giga faggot, Man you guys are such retards writing how much you will study and shit,I can’t even do that bitch, you’re all faggots and full of shit, keep being a slave , bitch
Man
hopefully ascend before I turn 25.
are you this retarded? Haha

Biology is a very different field from IT. You see IT is an established field, to the point that even normies can enter it.

Biology is very different. The precise field im interested in is called " Synthetic biology ", the word itself is new and not even the basic foundations of this field exist they are all under research.

They are plentiful jobs in IT and curries are hired I guess based on their coding skills? Programming languages are very established to the point that even someone from a non stem background could learn to code a little. The same isn't the case for biology.

There are no jobs in biology except maybe as teacher or professor or a researcher. Those who found successful startups and make great advances in this field will probably end up becoming incredibly rich and will be regarded as the new Bill Gates or Steve jobs imo but that's in far future.

Right now you can't compare IT field and biology.

that's true, I have a foid cousin who majored in bioengineering and has no jobs in her field and is gonna have to do a non bio job. U should give up on bio and do tech or STEM. Bio jobs are only for top 10 University giga IQ Chads and rich niggers who have connections due to their parents.

Nah, I am lazy

To begin with most foreign universities don't recognise my degree
I guess it takes a prestigious undergrad program to have a chance. But I don't think undergrad courses in your city should be completely unrecognised.
Second mathematics isn't in my course work so im automatically excluded from many colleges that recognises my degree
Can't you take maths as an elective? That might work. [UWSL]?[/UWSL]

I'd say do what you gotta do to succeed. Grades ARE important. This is doubly true if you wanna pursue a career in literal academics. Universities have no way to judge your undergrade knowledge except grades. Heck to apply to any decent place you gotta be top of your class.

Heck blatantly approach your professors, tell them about your academic ambitions and ask them to grade you well accordingly. They may even help you with research projects and other bullshit. You need them to get better grade on your projects and
. Professors in curry universities are hyper low iq. Lmao you thought they give a fuck about the field? Most of them see their career as a cushy teaching job. Many paid for their degrees in some shit university. And then paid bribes to get the job. Those selected on merit aren't any better. Why do you think those entrance exams for Phd are so easy lol. Its better to not rely on them for anything more than bureaucratic bullshit. Do your own learning.
Fourth, it seems that everything is against. Now what should I do? I could publish research to get better chances of getting accepted in foreign universities ( although that wasn't my motivation to do research originally ) but guess what they don't allow under graduates to do research.
That's a new one. Most Unis shouldn't have any problems with undergrads doing research. But then again undertaking research is only a sign of academic initiative. Most people don't gaf about some undergrad's research projects. I suggest to join internship at some university as a research associate or something. Maybe that can lead up to published work.
To top it all of due to covid my admission was late and the University decided that they are going to shorten what used to a 6 month semester to a 3 months one? Wtf is this? How am I supposed to learn 5000 pages worth of information in 3 months? It's impossible
I expect easier exams and grading in this scenario. You seem like you don't understand university exams yet. I used to be the same. Thinking that I have to learn everything. You've got to be smart about it. I've seen people study a week before exams and still get semi-decent grades. I've seen some guys stay on top of class while managing extracurricular projects. 3 months is a lot in comparison for someone who is working 6 hours a day. University exams are not hard you just gotta know the tricks.

I started coding when I was 11
This is so brutal and unfair. I could have never done that, because my computer time ("play time", even when the computer was not capable of running 3d games and I never played, I only browsed the www) was limited to 90 minutes a day and 5 days in a week. 90 * 5 = 450 minutes per week

Yeah that sucks. My parents let me play the computer all the time, because no one in our family had a social life anyway. My primary school friend introduced me to HTML and at that point I basically got addicted. When I was 12 I learned Visual Basic 6 for the purpose of hacking flash games and making trainers for them. I did that a lot. When I was 15 I taught myself PHP and MySQL from a book and at that point I seriously got into web development. I also got into Photoshop from 13-16 so I did the programming as well as design. I guess I was very talented in those areas in highschool, but perhaps at the cost of my social life. In a lot of subjects I had bad grades at well.

Why do you think I study? For some vague idea of "moneymaxxing"? No. I study because I like biology and when I study I enjoy it. It's my goal to become a biologist, I won't give up because there are stupid hurdles in the way.

No I can't

Easier said than done. Those assignments are suifuel for me. I just don't want to do them.

Apparently they did allow undergraduates to pursue reasearch 5 years ago and gave them grants but now that doesn't happens.

Those tricks are why curryland is full of retards with degrees. I want to actually learn everything, not take shortcuts.

Isn't that too much? I barely studied at home, because well, I just really hate studying in general.

On the other hand I feel it's less
I see. I would rope if I have to study all day, imagine going to school for like 7 hours and going home just to the same but by yourself

Lol due to corona I have online classes which I either don't attend or just join and ignore after which I study in peace:feelscomfy:

Ah, last year I had those online classes, graduated now. It's still depressing for me, I used to skip for like a whole week and the teacher had to call and tell my parents about it jfl. They gave me an earful.

Ive worked as an xray tech, operating MRI scanners, and then got a nursing licence. Don't ask me how I ended up in that. What a retarded move :feelscry: Im already 30 feel like it's too late trying to study something from the groud up again.

Nope it isn't, it's is a completely research based field
