If so, what kind of thing did you eat and what were the results?
 
No, I just fasted and ate unrestricted. Calories in/out is all that matters, if weight loss is the goal.

I lost 80 lbs on keto. I was doing strict keto, so all I was eating was chicken. I would bake it and eat it all at once, measuring out the calories and fats and adding salt. I would take an army of vitamins to offset the stuff I was missing out on.

When I was in keto my appetite was barely noticable, but I felt very, very physically weak.

Here's my best advice: depending on how much weight you need to lose, you're gonna go for a month, and then whatever justification/motivation you had for losing weight will dissipate. You need to be able to find a new reason then to keep going.

At first I was motivated by lowering my blood pressure. Then it was to get girls. Then I realized I was an incel, and then I went back to health. Then I had to lose weight for my self respect. Then it was for lifting. Then it was for Jiu Jitsu. And then it was for a moving job. Then it was back to self respect, and now I'm back to hoping for a girlfriend, but given what I know it's pretty much over, so I'll need to find a new reason soon, cause I'm starting to burn out.

Absolutely brutal.
 
I tried that and basically stopped pooping for a week
 
-10kg in a month. Eat greens and meat. Nuts too. No sugars. That easy.
 
Too lazy. I don't really care about my body.
 
no but calorie counting is the only way.

protein bars are unironically pretty good if you like them, the protein makes you feel full until your next meal.
