anyone here spending Christmas on their own and if so how do you feel about it ? Are you going to feel lonely or will it be just another day for you ?

Not this year but last year. My depression was a bit stronger than usual. But I was not the worst day of my life.

I have done, more than once.
I think it's one of those things that's more difficult at first but as you do it more for whatever reason it tends to become easier.
Christmas... is a social event, at its core. So I don't think there's MUCH point doing things for it unless you're with others, or maybe you're very religious.
And then that being said, whether it's amazing or passable or terrible will depend almost entirely on the people you are spending it with.
Generally speaking I am not really one for having a natural desire to celebrate annual events, unless it's just an excuse to socialise. However I like celebrating things that happen in the present, like an achievement or even certain political events I'm happy about. Stuff like that

I did last year due to lockdown restrictions and it was great. I didn't go outside, speak to anyone or do anything remotely Christmas-related. It was like it never happened.

Last year didnt feel like new year to me since i barely even heard fireworks. Its normally noisy as fuck on big celebrations.
Still, any day off work is a good day
Same - I was watching TV and heard a couple of fireworks outside which I assumed was the turn of the year. I won't be doing anything special for midnight tonight as I have no interest in new year.
