I don't understand it either. They always say "everyone is doing it". Who is everyone exactly? Binge drinking is an enigma I will never truly understand.

Drinking alcohol will not improve your life whatsoever, the opposite actually.
Don't think American men can feel more hopeless and screwed up than men in Russia. At least they don't have to live in concrete boxes, can (relatively) easiy travel across the world or their own country and their routine scenery doesn't look like a mess of snow, mud, piss and feces. They are infinite times better at coping.
