i wouldn't be so optimistic. I'ts Rockstar we are talking about and rockstar cares almost exclusively about earning money and that will require appealing to the masses which is a bunch of woke idiots nowadays.

I also really like the old GTA games and i think GTA 4 is my favourite in how dark and realistic it feels. I know for certain that GTA 6 will be woke because having a foid of color as one of the main protagonist just screams DEI and wokeness in my opinion.

And all the big budget AAA games just feels shallow at the end of the day. Indie titles however are some of the best nowadays but more than 95% of the population are shallow small brained idiots so thats why AAA is so popular and indies remains a small niche.
