Discussion Anyone else always rooting for the villain in media?

I find heroes and good endings boring. It's not realistic either. Irl even if you are a good person, good things don't happen to you automatically. The world is unfair, karma doesn't exist and people get away with murder and whatnot. So might aswell go full out and always root for the bad guys, atleast you wouldn't be lying to yourself thinking that you are gonna have a good ending aswell.

I always have. Villains usually have actual character development while faces are just the handsome guy.

I was rooting for the penguin all of the movie until the end, that became to much. But i really enjoy villains, it's easier to relate to them
