Hi all, I just wanted to share my little hobby since I don't have anyone else to share this with. I have been gardening for the past few years or so and it has helped me a lot to cope with a lonely life. I moved to a new place and just got this small plot at the community garden. I'm growing an assortment of flowers at the center. At the back, I'm growing pumpkins. The back right corner has a few tomato plants, and I sowed seeds for beans and mint leaves.
The right-most section I'm growing peas and radishes. The left-most section I'm growing an assortment of carrots, and kidney beans, with some cornflowers. At the front I'm growing beets and some potatoes.
Unfortunately when I first got the plot it was left in a sad state of disrepair:
There were weeds everywhere, plants that have long been dead, pots everywhere. It took a lot of work but I got the land improved to a level where you can grow some actual crops:
What I like the most about gardening is that the plants are living beings who directly respond to the way you treat them. If you take your time to till the land, clear it from weeds, set up a good bed of soil for the plant to grow on, and take the time to water and weed regularly, the plants will respond by growing things for you in return. The plants are alive and don't care about how I look, how tall I am, who I came from, what job I work or how my face looks. Outside of some act of God like a really bad weather season, gardening is really a hobby where the plants give you the same amount of respect and rewards as the amount of effort you place into them.
This small hobby of mine has helped me a lot in coping with the fact that the only sexual experience I have had in my 25 years old life is through escorts, and that no woman has ever loved me for who I am. I hate society for the way they have treated me, but I love giving life to the World and seeing it flourish.
