Been dabbling in nootropics recently (ashwaganda/taurine/nac and lions mane) but have yet to see noticeable improvements to my mood and more importantly my energy levels.

I'm going for a blood test soon to check if I am deficient in anything but in the meantime can any fellow nootcels recommend anything?

Here are the most effective supplements I take. Don't take nac before working out because it's an anti oxidant.

As you may have notice, dandelion. Root is fucking expensive...

However it's super easy to grow in container's. The leave's are good too.

If grown inside in winter they are less bitter but still good.

I brew gingko with my coffee and it improves mood

I can't recommend any without blood tests tbh. you will basically have to experiment and test and find what works for you.

Personally here are some lightweight ones which for most peoe work well:
  • L theanine(helps get better sleeping, some bundle with caffeine for more focus and reduce caffeines anxiety risk)
  • Modafinil( haven't tested yet but for some helps especially if you have ADHD type symptoms and Ritalin/Vynase/Adderall do not work)
  • Taurine(helps with memory especially if you have a deficiency, some boost,15% maybe to muscular stamina, very safe even at high doses and long periods of time, many many benefits)
  • Creatine good for muscles and gymcels, ~5-10% faster muscle growth. Don't over use as kidney risk if abuse and take more than 10g daily. Also if weak kidneys skip. Otherwise is safe.
  • multivitamin, good to compensate for diet deficiencies
  • magnesium,,sodium,Potassium[especially matters as most diet lacks it], I only take when doing cardio, helps maintain runs longer
  • minimize sugar, not a supplement but for many this simple act boosts energy levels quite a bit.
  • bacopa/lions mane/ herbal supplements, they have various healing benefits, memory etc. But won't recommend over using them because sometimes their is a heavy metals risk and a gas/microbiome risk.
  • Phenibut, works well as a more powerful caffeine. Use maybe once a week. with very very controlled dosage. is addictive if used more than 2x a week. so again be watchful.
  • Racetam drugs(piracetam/phenyl/anti/fawco etc.) : some of these work some don't, very very dependent on individual biology so can't comment much. Overall though they hit pretty hard and many of them will not work for you. but if you find one that does, you will get a bigger boost.
  • Choline drugs, these work well with racetams. They give more choline which racetams can use. But I haven't tested this personally yet but others claim it works.
  • Ashwagandha, works very well for focus or cutting anxiety/nervousness. but can slow down thinking/creativity sometimes. Test and see for yourself. I personally only use it before interviews or presentation or if too jumpy.
  • curcumin/Piperine/turmeric/black pepper: work well if you have Reynaulds/diabetws syndrome or cold feet/hands. Also for reducing inflammation a bit. works for me when I have cold hands or feet due to low blood flow. I use it occasionally but not too often.
  • microdosing LSD/Psychedelics - work for some people and boost creativity. But comes with the risk of paranoia/headaches or schizophrenia if that is in your family. For me causes headaches/vomiting so I don't use it.
  • [UWSL]general advice the more powerful a drug the more side effects it can have, so you have to be vigilant. Ideally pay for a blood test every 3-6 months just to be safe.[/UWSL][UWSL][/UWSL]
  • [UWSL]there are more but this should be enough to give you some guidance for now.[/UWSL]

High iq. I like milk thistle more than dandelion root powder, but I haven't tried growing dandelion root and leaves fresh myself, I bet it would be very nice to be made into a tea. If I can grow it I'll stop taking the powder because they jacked up the prices too much.

I use a big old cooler filled with potting soil.

If it's outside - most of the year - then I open the drain plug. If inside I close that plug.

It grows good in lightly swampy area.

I have mine near my south window. In the warm room.

I also dense plant Ginger and sweet potato and violets... And i fert it a few times a year.

That way I always have greens.

Coolers filled with soil is a good idea to plant indoors, I have to try that in our garage. It's raining in my city so it's nice and swampy too, but I will probably have to plant indoors because I'm worried my pets will eat the greens and dandelion leaves. I never planted anything before, but I hope there will be enough to keep me from buying them from stores when I start.

Pets will only eat grasses....

Very informative, thanks bro.

Hens eat everything
I have to be careful of small plastic and screws that fall into the yard because they'll try to eat it.

Put chicken wire around you're plants...

Next winter I'll need to wrap my orange trees with hardware cloth (very tiny hole chicken wire) to keep the rats from eating my oranges. I'm expected a good crop.

That's a good idea, I can keep chicken wire around the crops until it grows big enough where they can't reach them. Now all I have to do is stop being lazy and start planting.

They'll dig it up...

A popular thing to do is to have your chickens protect your garden like a moat.

Just protect your garden from the chickens and let them free range around it...

The thing I don't like about keeping chicken wire wrapped around is I will always have to remove it so I can pick the crops.
