I'm an amateur guitar player that began my journey with the instrument my senior year of high school (mostly as a coping mechanism)
It really sucks just starting out but once you master a few basic techniques and start learning to play music you like, it's truly a powerfully distracting and even motivating cope. If you're a musiciancel, tell me about what you play, how you got started and so on.

Me, I'm a begginer piano player and I'm studying musical theory. But the bad part is that it will require a lot of years and study with a teacher till I play most songs I want to, still a very good cope though

I played the piano since I was a kid cause my parents are asian. Then learned music production as a hobby and was even able to sell a few beats online. Havent worked on my music in a while though.
