Apply for security guard job, preferably night shift. Bullshit on your resume saying you have experience with patrolling and taking logs and blah blah blah. Then look up some manual on security guard procedure.

I did this and got 3 job offers in a week, didn't take it though because I already had another job. If you take the effort to get a security, armed guard license you can even get decent pay for it.
