Don't these zoomer game devs have any imagination or originality?

Call me a boomer all you guys want (I'm a millenial) but the games nowadays are total utter trash compared to the games of the late 90s to mid 2000s.

Recently I have discovered that even Rocket League was not the first of its kind.

I have been sitting through some of those best racing games for PS1 and there is one game which is awefully similar to Rocket League.

Now obviousely its those Rocket League devs that may have copied this idea.

Either it was a copy or a coincidence.

I have heard that two groups who don't know anything about one another can come up with the same solution to a problem.
There is a name for that shit and it is claimed that knowledge is basically floating in some kind of aether and both managed to access the same information in the same period of time.
Something like that.
