Anyone get pissed off animation tends to make males the dumb, ugly or evil ones? Been meaning to makes this thread for a while but what triggered me was this episode of the powerpuff girls.

Mojo Jojo literally created 3 boys out of pubic hair shavings, snails, a puppy dog tail and toilet water. This is a very diminishing thing saying males are created out of garbage. Even their names were bad boomer, brick, and butch.
Compare that to the powerpuff girls where are made out of sugar, spice and everything nice. Clean names that refer to nice things like blossom, bubbles, buttercup.
But so many movies also have the cliche of saving the princess but the male role is strictly concentrated on saving her sacrificing himself during the mission then coming to some bluepill understanding of his place in the relationship while the female characters are the written to be self sustaining and independent.
