I'm still waiting for a big racial incident to come out of Russia, where some ethnics would push the "brotherhood" too far and Russians at large would crack and admit that, no matter how much their government might push Eurasianism and their alliances with other poorfag regions of the world, in the end, they are white Europeans, they are never going to be seen as anything else that white Europeans, none of their ethnic "friends" and "allies" are even trying to larp as seeing them as anything else than another bunch of white people and they ultimately hate them just as much as they hate Westerners, and that there is no reason for them to pretend like they want or should be allied with anyone else than their fellow whites... but I dunno. If it's this deeply rooted, that might legit never happen.

One of the interesting things to come out of the Ukraine War was Zelensky refusing to call Russia that since he claimed cultural appropriation of Kievan Rus legacy and refers to Moscow as Muscovy. IIRC the parts of Ukraine like Crimea that is currently under occupation was historically the least Slavic part of Ukraine anyway, with Crimean Tatars having a base for "mining the steppe" of blond slaves.

The fact that they consider themselves to be so, does not mean that they support the white race. If tomorrow they are ordered to kill some Poles or Latvians for the fact that they hate the USSR, they will do it gladly. I would be afraid of this, because the fact that they consider themselves to be Europeans does not mean that they love the European race.

I don't see any love for India in Russia. Yes, there is a worship of China among the Russian ruling class, because for them, the Chinese system is an ideal and a reference point for the coexistence of political tyranny and a free market.
Well, that's only for the Soviet boomers. There has never been a mass fascination with Chinese culture, and there still isn't. It's unlikely that 99% of Russians know anything about Chinese history or have read Confucius or the Three Kingdoms.

Russians do what the government tells them to do. If the Russian regime becomes pro-Western tomorrow, then Russians will become pro-Western. Most Russians literally think what they are told to think on TV. Back in the 1990s, most people hung posters of Schwarzenegger and Stallone on their walls, bought VCRs with cassettes to watch Western movies, and video salon were filled with people. I'm not even mentioning the fact that in 1990, everyone played NES (known as Dandy in Russia) on Sega and PS1( if they had rich parents).

But in all honesty I don't think the majority of russians unironically believes any of this shit about the special "russian way" of doing things. If you look at what movies they watch, what music they listen to, what behavior patterns they assume, how they view themselves and how they want to live at the end of the day, (almost) nowhere do you find any "eastern" influences. Russians want to look like europeans, talk to europeans, travel to european countries, brag about their knowledge of european way of life, etc. They are just stubborn and don't want to work towards it and think europe should take them in simply for who they are.

Yes, and that is the reason why most of us in CEE have problems with them. Still though, I'd say that as long as they don't genuinely see themselves as some outsiders interacting with Europe and Europeans, (which ethnics are never really going to see them as) there is at least that common ground to build on.
