LifeFuel A Thread for Books

Adam lanza’s audio recordings not a book but his views were interesting you can find it as PDF online

Probably jolly heretic’s latest book but that could just be a regurgitation of information people already knew.

Prozac panacea or pandora. Very interesting info on SSRIs and violence, going ER and side effects.

Read time loops by Eric wargo

Anyone read those books about the defectors of NK? Definitely recommend, makes all life’s problems seem so small

One of my favorite books in the past 5 years is one titled: "The house of the spirits" by isabel Allendre. It's really hard to describe, but think of 100 years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia marquez but the family is essentially in the real world, and they are in the same timeline as us. Magical realism is the main draw of the book, and it details the lives of the Trueba family as the struggle with the "Magic and spirit world" hence the name and it spans multiple generations, and gives a good deal of insight into the politics of chile through the lenses of the author.
I read this book in 10th grade or when i was 15, and it still holds up. My personal reccomendation is to read it again after a little while just so you can absorb every single detail of the magic realism aspects.

Even though there are "romance" elements in it, I really like No Longer Human

You like it? I've read most of the famous works of Russian literature, and the only one I really liked was The House of the Dead. It offered the most realistic depiction of inmate life.
Quite a lot, I didn't knew much about Russian literature, but reading The Underground Man at the time made me question many of my beliefs. I'm going to look into The House of the Dead.

Most people, especially Americans, don’t know much about Russian literature, even if they have degrees. I’m not suggesting that knowing it will be particularly useful in life—it’s just entertainment. I don’t think everyone needs to read ‘the classics’; many people wouldn’t enjoy them anyway, so it might be a waste of time for some.
I like to read for entertainment and time wasting, not every book must be usefull. About Americans not knowing much about Russian literature that is true, except within social studies majors, in these niches Russian literature is held in high regard

I don't really read but I recommend the action hero's handbook.

My favorite book of all time

Ham On Rye - Charles Bukowski

bro was a truecel during his highschool days

Whatever - Michel Houellebecq. The novel that foreseen today's mass inceldom and disposability of men in 1994

I very much liked the short stories that are usually printed with that book. Will o' The Mill really spoke to my soul for the moment when I read it. It's a short fable about ambition, naivety, and the crushing or sobering reality that will confront you.

That book could just be the front cover, jfl. Because "Increase attraction with style" "Project POWER and AUTHORITY with style" "Command respect with style" actually means be white and have a good lower third.

Maybe the author wasn't aware, but some part of his mind felt that having one type of male face on the book, was better suited than another, yet that wont be the topic jfl jfl jfl.

READ THE BIBLE
AND SAVE YOUR SOUL

I read the Kamasutra

It has about 3 blackpills in his vision of the ancient woman

But it's boring, not what I expected, just a lot of useless advice for today's world, "If you want to give pleasure to a woman, rub pepper on your penis bro"

Boring and useless,

I cannot understand how such a useless piece of literature is so universally known.

ºBP's:

"Women cannot understand scientific texts"

"Women are corrupt by nature"

"Sleeping with the wife of another man who seeks your attention is the same as sleeping with a prostitute, so it is legal"

Can't hurt me from David Goggins...I can relate cause I too look in the mirror every and hate what I see. I call myself all sorts of names and curse my whole existence.but this book has motivated me to be better

Lord of mysteries is pretty good.

any fellow houellebecqcels?

The Wasp Factory and The Collector are must reads for any incel

Last book i read was called' Near Death Experiences of Suicide Survivors' by John J Graden. I have read other books about NDEs but this one is a collection of accounts specifically from very depressed people who took that final step but survived. It relates to me because when i tried to rope in the Mental Hospital i did die but those faggot nurses revived me .
I have found now living life now means i am heading for a fate worse than i could ever imagine .

Medication Madness by Peter Breggin, a psychiatrist is worth a read .... He has written extensively on the potential dangers of psychiatric medications. In his book MM he explores how these drugs can lead to severe behavioral reactions , including violence , suicide and emotional
breakdowns.. Breggin introduces the concept of '' medication spellbinding '' where individuals taking psychiatric drugs may not realize their mental state is deteriorating and may believe they are functioning better than they are .
He argues that psychatric drugs can impair judgement and self - awareness leading to harmful behaviors without the individual recognizing the
drug's role in these changes . Breggins work is a cautionary tale about the over - reliance on psychiatric medications and highlights the importance of being aware of their potential adverse effects .

My comrades with schizophrenia have contributed a lot to the literary world. Author Philip Dick was schizo. He believed in real life that he was in contact with crab like aliens that communicated with him through a pink laser that was beamed into his skull. I have read a lot of his novels.
His novel, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep", was the inspiration for the Blade Runner films . Philip Dick's other book "Man in the High Castle" was made into a amazon.com series that was popular.

Dr Chris Palmer ... He's written a book called Brain Energy, because he's convinced mental illnesses are actually metabolic ones and that they arise from faulty mitochondria. These are known as the 'power houses' of cells), as they are involved in energy production at a cellular level. He says some new and interesting things. His approach is as much body-centred as it is psychological: he's 'cured' people with bipolar and schizophrenia by giving them a specific low-carb diet: they have returned to stability and stayed there - in many cases, permanently. He presents case studies he's worked with, including an elderly woman with schizophrenia who, after treating with the diet, returned to health and remained well for years, despite coming off her medication (with his supervision of course, and slowly).
I find him intriguing but others may not be sold on his philosophy. I'd be interested to hear what anyone thinks.

This thread is to discuss books: Either those you have read, will read, wish to read, or recommend others to read.

Enjoy!
