I don't consider it ascending. It's not love (read: attraction to your body). It's something, but not ascending.
Ascending to me is getting a gf that cares about u and u can have sex with and u care about them, u know typical bf gf shit that you can only have if there's mutual attraction.

The vast majority of men in most cultures do not marry based on an explicit financial transaction. Yes is a major factor in that rich men will find it easier to find a partner and financial trouble is the number one stated cause of divorces, but generally speaking people fuck because the other person finds them attractve/fuckworthy

That's my baseline for ascension, people able to find sex and relationships in the basic way most others do. So no I don't think sex with someone who is explicitly only doing it for the cash is ascension.
