I have often wondered how much IQ matters in life. Virtually all the research says it matters extremely and that it's the best indicator of future life success. But the thing is, I suffer from a disability which means I have never actually had a fully normal working life/carrier so I am not able to know for sure what my life would look like if I wasn't disabled.
I have an IQ of 98, which is 2 points below the average standard of 100. I have some fairly complex hobbies like 3D modeling and I understand some coding, so I guess I'm not completely dumb. Not very good at complex math though.
I know this question may come of as a bit offensive but frankly nobody would be on this forum if their self-esteem was high to begin with, so I will just feel free to ask this: Do you feel your IQ level has made things more difficult for you in life? Do you find it hard to get good at complex tasks/jobs? And note that I am not merely talking about actual real paid jobs but like do you have any complex hobbies at all that require skills? Things like coding, game dev, card games or just basically anything that takes skill?
How do sub-90 IQ ethnics fare in life Vs poor whites with an IQ between 90-95? How much does it matter if at all? And again remember I am not just talking about paid jobs but all skills/hobbies.
