So, im interested in video editing. Im currently using an editing software called ''Sony Vegas Pro 12'' and im an low level/amateur user.
I can edit some stuff and do little things but not an average user, sadly.
I have a special interest in color grading also so i have these options.
Sticking with Sony Vegas Pro
I can continue to work with sony vegas, its a simple software and i have a shitton of 3rd party plugins installed.
(sapphire, bcc, rsmb, magic bullet looks, red giant universe)
It has a good performance on my pc. (Pc specs: 16 gb ram, gtx 970, intel i7 4790k @ 4.0 ghz, 100 gb ssd, 3 tb hdd)
I can get a good render time.
Moving on to Adobe premiere or AE
I might try these out especially AE, it has a very complex layout tho, SVP's timeline is the best tbh.
They consume more power but i might upgrade my ram to 32 gb soon.
Also my graphics card is a nvidia one and most adobe editing programs use the CUDA, i dont have a problem with that.
DaVinci Resolve 16 | Blackmagic Design
So this is a new editing software, its still on beta so i can get that for free.
Its more lightweight than Adobe so thats nice.
Blackmagic design is known especially for color grading and its pertty cool tbh.
