Its because they look at themselves and know how insolent they were towards their parents, knowing this, they fear having to put up with the shit they've done and said when they were kids.

It felt beautiful to have this liberty, to behave in most crude way possible and have the law on your side if the parent beats you, and experiencing someone other, even if its your kid, use it for their own good at your expense is bitter.

"Its common sense you should be allowed to tell your old man off" ...Yeah, but what about doing this to you?

You can say more than "fuck off" to your mom and dad without major punishment today. People fight on the street for worse insults. More so, with the rise of antinatalism children and you (because I know a lot of you reading this did) use the arguments made by the philosophical stance as a shield to justify your actions (such as being rude without a reason, angry at your subhumanity) without actually believing the doctrine itself.

Its not about money, time or something like that, its about attitude. To remain "the generation" who had it good and not lose the title to another one.

This alone isn't the main reason, but it sure does play a major factor.

I don't believe this is true for most ethnics; perhaps more so for lower-middle class type suburbs...

Though there are many factors to why people might not want to have kids, this may be a small one; I doubt most average people were that terrible towards their parents.
