Psychologically, work is extremely difficult. Every day, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., you do shit, then you get home, lie down without feeling anything, and take an hour to rest from work. After that, you just do household chores, and you have 1-2 hours to entertain yourself (books, games, YouTube, and then the next morning and the need to go to work).
Food prices in Poland are about the same as in Germany or France, but salaries are lower. Plus, real estate is insanely expensive, and it's about the same price as real estate in Spain.
