Just randomly remembered this and wanted to share. I lived in the dorm one year and this guy on my floor was like 5 years older and incel. We were friends and he came over to my dorm one day and saw a 12 pack of soda. He asked if he could have one and I said sorry but that is just full of empty cans. (Which was true) but I told him I have some money so we can go down to the soda machine in the lobby and I would buy him one. So that is what we did and he seemed pretty appreciative.
