Discussion 75th Anniversary of India !

Alright folks, I have decided to be a little patriotic today (I am not even an Indian by Nationality but I am appreciative of India for many reasons) so I decided to make this thread. In my home,I have an American Flag & an Indian flag side by with my dogs sitting, each one taking turns sitting underneath one flag at times.

It is India's 75th Independence day celebration and it will be a loud day. Last year during this time, a few protests happened and this year the BJP and State Police units said "Hell no" and they have stuck to that promise. They are out in force as well making a display. I believe they have become excellent at doing what they set out to do for these sort of things. Overall, and in my opinion, and for my set of circumstances, India is a good place to be for the time being.

Since we have a lot of curries from all over the world and people with mixed opinions here, let's say some interesting shit ?

I am of the same view as one of my curry heroes Gandhicel in that the independence and division of India was a tragedy. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a massive faggot who sucked British dick, he didn’t even follow Islam properly. I believe curryland would have been great if Jinnah would took Gandhi’s offer where there were safeguards so that the Muslim minority do not get fucked over by the Hindu minority and Jinnah rather than Nehru was the first prime minister of India.

Nehru with his retarded protectionist policies condemned India to poverty for decades. I believe if Jinnah became PM, India would have been capitalist and may have actually become a developed country. There would also have been a kick ass cricket team.

Its a long game because today undoing India's feudal caste system/permit Raj, reducing the communism-lite to moderate socialism, opening up free trade, creating competitive markets, building large scale infrastructure with the state, it takes time.

A big achievement is getting the birthrate under the long term replacement rate of 2.10 in 2020. For overpopulated nations that is a big issue.
