Had a 144hz monitor for 3 years now it's fucking great. I knew it should make a difference right it's ~2.5x the frames but even if running at lower fps the responsiveness is insane. but normies keep talking about muh 24fps human eye even browsing the internet you clearly notice coz nvidia sometimes defaults it to 60hz upon boot and it's jarring. or let's say 80fps with 144hz is markedly different than 60hz. recommended for all vidyacels or even just PCcels in general. 60hz feels like using an old crt monitor now

brutal. yeah it's pretty expensive ngl got a tn one for $400 the viewing angles are shit but the response time is great. but no need for viewing angles if you're the only one using it tfw no loli to game with though I've seen full hd 144hz go for reasonably cheap nowadays tbh, like $170. the price is mostly the 1440p resolution

I use a 144hz monitor for both of my computers. ( WinXP, Win10 )
Some games use 60fps, while others utilize the 144hz performance.
They look crisp and very smooth.

DVI-D is what you should use for 144hz, because the HDMI locks at 60fps.

interesting video but smells of fake hype. most crts were 17 inches, heavy as fuck so no proper mounting possible, bad colors, curved outwards, 4:3 aspect ratio, takes up all your desk space .... and are these niggas really trying to tell me that 1024x768 is a good resolution and that it doesn't matter?

I heard CRTs used to be better, so I tried a pretty decent one out. Everything was way too blurry and washed out. Battlefield 3 at 800x600 120hz was pretty smooth tho
