Are you actually installing the software and giving access to your physical webcam? JFL don't do this.
You might accidentally screenshare your pc https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362673-Requesting-or-giving-remote-control
Using it in a browser window is much safer
Also don't give them your real webcam.
Use splitcam https://splitcam.com/ or a similar thing and put up a blurry gif or extremely low resolution webcam output.
Your PC is YOURS and NOBODY is entitled to your webcam or remote access.

My laptop has a little slider thing that covers your webcam.

Today I had a conference, lasted 4 hours (a lecture and a seminar). I claimed my microphone was broken. This shit won't work next time. Shit I'll have to fucking talk. I don't even talk in games or discord, I've lost potential online gaming friends and such just cause I wouldn't talk online. And now I'm forced to. Fuck.

Ohh and I already got fucking homework. God damn I'm too old for this shit. Ohh wait next year I gotta work instead of studying so I guess it will get even worse. Fuck I hate life it goes from bad to worse to wishing you had an aneurysm during sleep every night.

ngl my professors are mostly old boomers who dont really know how to use computers so I am not really that concerned. I also dont have a webcam. I am on my schools wifi so its not like they can't already basically see what I am doing anyways as well.
