I bought a jailbroken Wii U last friday, so I have been vidyamaxxing as a new cope ever since.

I just finished Zelda Breath of the Wild in 3 days, which I think is a pretty fast time, and I had a lot of fun with it.

Now I'm going to repeat the game in master mode and go for a 100% run (with walkthrough). Wish me luck :feelsaww:

I’ve spent like 300 hours on BotW

I wanne play it too at some point.

i did everything but the korok seeds made me lose motivation since it was the last thing i had to do before 100% completion

There’s so many of them

Good luck. As soy as this will make me look, when they first announced Zelda BOTW and the trailer music hit, I got goosebumps from it. I await to see if Nintendo will show BOTW2 footage at the digital E3 next month.

Nice, I plan to collect all 900 since I have no social life anyway. Just got the first 18 at the starting area

Try Gems of War for pc or Playstation for free, it can be downloaded on the phone too. I've spent over 500 hours on it at least.

I love BOTW. I find it therapeutic since you’re “outside” on your own with little to no people around. Quite peaceful and fun.

I like games where you play as Chad and mog the shit out of everybody, not as some pathetic kid.

in 3 days, did you even enjoy the game?

BotW was like meditation for me, it's one of those games I never wanted to finish.

Yeah I enjoyed it, but I wanted to finish before my work week started again. I also like to see how fast I could beat it. Now that I have done that i'm doing a 100% run, because like you say, it shouldn't finish.

It's a great game but it gets boring eventually, I think ill start a mew playtrough, its been like 2 years since the last time i played

I have played so much the last days that I ignored my internship work lol.

I have just bought the ancient armor set and upgraded it to 3 stars. My ancient weapons now have +80% damage. I am now farming guardians for giant ancient cores (one shotting them with ancient arrows) so I can buy the final upgrades. After that my plan is to finish the remaining 60 shrines and buy Hero of the Wild armor.

I have also unlocked the master sword, but I'm having difficulty with the trial of the sword quest on master mode, as it's quite difficult.

I also tried out dragon horn farming which is just an insane way to make money. They are also useful for 30 min. +3 attack up meals. There are a lot of advanced combat techniques in botw by using glitches but so far I'm pretty noob at fighting, I only know how to jump cancel.

I have to say though that this is quickly becoming one of my most favorite games of all time.

Based of the wild!
:dab::dab:

Botw is a good game tbh put over 200 hours into it

I just completed fully upgraded ancient armor and all 120 shrines. I now have hero of the wild armor and I'm going to fully upgrade it. The only thing left to do for 100% is find all 900 korok seeds and finish the DLC shrines

@Diocel @Idotms @Broly play zelda on their switches

I never completed any Zelda game tbh. In my DS when I was a kid I was never too interested in Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks, and in 3DS I didn't play much Ocarina of Time because the L and R triggers of my 3DS broke kek. I could play the N64 version on PC with an emulator but I haven't done it.

Three days?

Damned impressive lad.:feelsYall:

Standard home console Zelda games tend to take me about two weeks to complete but I believe it may of taken a month or three for me to complete BOTW since the world was so obnoxiously huge and there was so much padding not to mention having to get used to the bad new gameplay systems.

Not saying the game wasn’t fun but the devs made the control scheme and menu system needlessly over complicated and at times frustrating to learn.:feelsUgh:

In anycase when you’re completely done with BOTW if it’s sequel isn’t out yet you might enjoy it’s various ripoff games of Genshin Impact and Fenyx Immortals which I certainly have.

Thanks bro. I partly wanted to see how fast I could beat it so I didn't do any sidequests but only followed the main storyline. I think I played about 10 hours each day. I didn't use a walkthrough except for two times, the first time because I didn't know you could change the position of a divine beasts, and the second time in a divine beast where you had to shoot a flaming arrow through the keyhole of a door. I just couldn't figure that out. Apart from that I figured everything out myself, so I'm pretty proud of that. I had some trouble with the blights, I think I did each one like 10 times, except for the thunder blight, which took me more tries because I had never used dodging and flurry rush before that point. After defeating the blights I think defeating calamity ganon was relatively easy.

I generally enjoy hack and slash games, for example I played a lot of Rune back in the day, and I feel like BotW sort of gives that same experience. Especially on youtube you can find all the advanced fighting techniques that are sort of based on glitches, which makes it possible to really do interesting high damage combos. For example you can chain combos and kill a golden lynel in 18 seconds. That is really appealing to this game imo, that it is pretty intuitive yet can have a very high skill cap. So there's always something to learn or to get better.

Thanks for the tips on the ripoff games. I will keep those in mind.
