so far i have read sun and steel and the sailor who fell from grace with the sea and am currently reading spring snow and im so far enjoying it. i personally liked the works because i believe his romanticisation, tied with the bushido is powerful, or atleast creates an illusion of beauty . The coup however was honestly pointless , western culture had already penetrated japan and set it on a bleak dystopian path.
