Honestly. The context might help.
If she’s Getting beat up for no reason I’d call the police ( because I have empathy). But if she did something wrong I’d walk away

Keep walking. What would I do anyway? Talk and ask why they're doing that and what she did? Why should I care, beyond idle curiosity? Best case scenario, they're civil and honest about the reason, plus she deserved it. Worst case, I make myself a target.
Call the police? What the hell would that do? They won't arrive there soon enough to stop the assailants anyhow. They'll be there to mop the mess and take witness statements. Police are often times quite useless when it comes to interdicting an active situation, unless they happen to be around the block.
The only thing I'd probably do is to call an ambulance after the fact, but that assumes I'm going to hang around until they arrive, which is not happening.
