Persobally, i much prefer it to stay night. It's more self-contained and non canonical (it merges all 3 routes into the single timeline). It's the only truly funny vn, has very well written characters and dialogue and the best h-scenes (medusa sex scene....). Overall 10/10

How can I say? Just play the VN I guess. There's also the anime for UBW made by Ufotable if you want to see I'm sure there's an order guide for it somewhere so you don't spoil yourself. Also of course play the uncensored version with the hentai

Unfortunately the nsfw elements were never intended to be made, they had to be added to generate sales (vns in 2000s were mostly porn games). Only times nasu used them to his story's advantage was in kohaku's route in tsukihime, and even then it's mid at best (still love kohaku tho).
Modern fate uses fanservice, which is fake and gay, not to mention the extremely weak stories and characters. In the 50 hours of campaign in grand order, only 8 were any good.
