Young incels - go learn martial arts and here's why

Guess BJJ is a decent hobby. Bit gay but a man's gottta do what a man's gotta do. I prefer strike fighting such as kickboxing, I don't feel comfortable being close to my enemy.

Two posts up you called me a "faggot" for no reason whatsoever, man.
Lol, Weed

i've got no strength to come on time to classes for college let alone martial arts lmao

but srsly, "I doubt your face is the biggest factor.". Are you some bluepiller who came to this forum to tell incels to get some hobby?

:feelstastyman::feelstrash::feelsbaton:

Obviously lol. Every post he's made is either cuck shit, bluepill shit and acting all reddity (like trying to be "pozitive!!" in every single post to signal that he's a happy and friendly person, even though in reality he's not amused at all).

:feelstastyman::feelstrash::feelsbaton:

I dont know what bluepiller means, but I am 33 and have been rejected and considered ugly and disgusting by all women in my life until now thanks to cystic acne. Im otherwise succesful, so I'm well aware that being ugly had severe consequences to my life.

What I am telling you, my friend, is that having a "low trust face" would not get in the way of you joing a BJJ team, making some friends, and kicking some ass if you wanted to.

As for women, who knows, I have no experience with them

I had a friend who loved having the mental edge on everyone, knowing he could beat them up or kill them. He loved guns and other weapons, was in the army, practiced martial arts, power lifted... basically anything he could do to make himself a more threatening opponent, he did it.

I love hand to hand fighting, but don't partake too much myself. I think becoming good at anything will give someone more self-confidence, and martial-arts may be the king of building confidence.

Here's the thing though - confidence doesn't get you laid. The people here, for the most part, want sex. Being able to beat up Chads and Tyrones is cool, but hardly solves the problem of involuntary celibacy.

I'm 36, and (unlike you) still mad as hell I'm not getting sex. I feel like I need to be banging tons of hot chicks. I want to have sex with new girls every day. Martial arts won't help me get that life, so it's useless to me.

Anyway, that's just my two-cents.

Its only gay if someone cums during a guard pass

Do you think I need to lose weight?

This, and also working out in general will stop people from picking on you, regardless of how you look.

I found bodybuilding to be effective. People started respecting me more. Only problem is that beginning bb is harder than most boys think and many framecels will give up after a month of doing everything wrong. A lot of bad boy douchebags start straight with taking steroids.

I think the most important thing for youngcels is to pick any hobby that could help them make friends and feel good about themselfves. Being able break someone else's nose is a bonus.

Confidence doesn't necessarily get you laid, but it's nice to have so we can go through life unapologetically, make our mark, and do as we wish.

I've been mad for a long time, there's no secret to being ok with it except that I'm lucky enough that I got over it. I don't expect others to do so, and I still remember the living nightmare that it was.

If all you want is sex, I would recommend dealing coke.

Kidding.

Or am I

Do you think I need to lose weight?

If youre the guy in the picture, I think you would look better if you did and you would be much healthier.

But who's to know if it will get you laid or not. If you like food more than you like being thin, and that's how you're happy, then eat and be merry.

Kate Moss said "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" and Im sure she means it but I wonder if she has ever had a giant Toblerone bar

What's your current deadlift? #mirin

Hey gang, this one goes out to the teenagers here. Not getting laid sucks, though at 33 I've had a lifetime to come to terms with it and found distractions in hobbies and work and family. But I DO remember how it was in middle and high school. Or rather: I barely do, because those years were so horrific that I can barely remember high school. It's a blur, and by the end I was so depressed and nlonely that I barely graduated.

Why am I telling you this? Well, because I talk too much but also because my involuntary celibacy was caused by cystic acne which I have to this day as well as my size: I was very very thin.

I got bullied a lot. People made fun of me, and that sucked, but I got beat up sometimes and that was the worst part. Getting beaten up makes you feel like less of a man. Your dignity goes to hell. You have been physically dominated and made helpess by another male. Those are still some of the worst memories of my lilfe.

Same, but I remember some good bits too. Despite being bullied, I somehow still had friends and some cool memories.

When I got into college I decided enough was enough and I wanted to learn a martial art and here's where my advice comes in: picking up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was the best thing for my mental health Ive ever done.

Brazilian Jiu jitsu is a grappling art that allows you to beat up ANY untrained grappler in a one-on-one fight after only 6 months of training. Best part is: you don't have to hurt them or risk getting hurt in the process.

Define getting hurt.

Oh, but here's my favorite part!

In college I got out of my shell and stopped being afraid. People wouldn't bully me anymore. Sure they'd call me "pizza face" or ask if I had shaved with a cheese grater or shit like that, but I didn't take it quietly. I sent it right back. I told Stacy I could smell her sardine cunt from where I was standing, and the one guy who shoved me in my second semester I took down , mounted, punched a couple times and choked him out when he turned to cover up. Watching that piece of shit drooling on the floor and the horror of the people around made me feel lie I'd never felt before. I felt like I had taken control of my life, and that I didn't have to take shit from anyone anymore.

Half a minute later he woke up, unharmed, and nobody ever fucked with me again. And it shows. I don't make apologies for myself and I don't take shit from anyone.

Because nothing makes you more badass than overreacting to an act of minor douchbaggery and beating the shit out of someone, and then basking in the fear and confusion of onlookers.

All because of BJJ. I am not 33

But, you said you were 33. Are you 32 then? 34? 12?

and I haven't kept up after my purple belt (took me 6 years) but I still feel confident I can defend myself and this gives me much peace.
Look, learning BJJ doesnt mean you can take on the whole football team by yourself, and you 'ont become Neo from the Matrix. And it won't make anybody want to sleep with you, I'm 33 and still a virgin because guess what, knowing chokes and takedowns didn't make me less disgusting, but you won't have to be bullied anymore.

That confidence is called delusion with a side of arrogance. If you don't keep up your skills, they will fade. Especially when you go up against a guy who knows what they're doing. It doesn't take martial arts to fuck somebody up, just a little know how and a desire to hurt someone.

In summation:

Teenage incels, even as young as 12, join a BJJ gym, train it for a few months and oyu will never have to be emasculated by another guy again. You will not be bullied anymore. And why BJJ? Cause other martial arts are concussive and always end up with someone getting hurt and they also take much longer to master.

Good luck fucking up your bullies. Don't let go until they're convulsing, and depending on your anger, maybe punch them for a while from a top position before you put them to sleep. Do it for me

Yes, kids, this is a wonderful message about martial arts: Learn martial arts for petty revenge! Use it to intimidate your peers with wonton and pointless displays of aggression! Feel like a total god after six months of training! Learn the art now popular with UFCFags, fratboys, jocks, keyboard warriors and other assholes bullies! All thanks to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! Because that's totally what Carlos and Hélio Gracie intended for their art!

In all seriousness, as a martial artist myself, I think this is a horrible message.

Yes, you should learn martial arts: Comradery, fitness, mental health, and most importantly self defense skills. But, if you're intended to learn a martial art, specifically to hurt someone to protect your pride; you need to do some serious introspection! There's a reason martial arts masters of old were selective of students and who they transmitted secrets: So assholes don't go around hurting people for stupid reasons!

Furthermore, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is not the be-all-end-all martial art, especially with its heavy sport emphasis in today's culture. And there are shit schools just banking off its popularity in cage fighting.

As for you, OP, get back in the gym and grow the fuck up while you're at it!

these newfags are extremely cringe.

How tall are you op? I'm 5'7" 140 lb with tiny bones. I did karate when i was a kid up to my teens but it was a joke. When i'd have to hold the pads when we were practicing kicks, I'd always go flying like a feather anytime someone kicked it.

I was just too small and too weak.

I've learned not to fight. I'm in my 30s now and never been in a fight before. Don't plan to start now.

Soooo, did you try bracing yourself when holding the pads? Also, if it's a joke, it seems like you went to a McDojo. A good traditionalist school is hard to find.

You can't "brace yourself" when you're 4' tall and weight less than 100 lb and the guy kicking it is dramatically bigger and stronger.

It was a cathartic moment for me,and life changing. He earned his beatdown. Regardless, I get your point. It's not nice to beat people up. You're absolutely right.

But, you said you were 33. Are you 32 then? 34? 12?

Typo, champ. I am 33.

True. But muscle memory is also a thing and 6 years sticks around for a while. I dont plan on joining the kumite but I am easily able to do basic takedowns and transitions which Ive done thousands of times before. Ill be alright.

Be able to defend yourself against laypeople in 6 months if the situation warrants it, is a great message.
Training further and being able to defend yourself from almost any bully one on one is a wonderful thing.

Being bullied is not a stupid reason. Being beaten up, robbed and humiliated on a weekly basis is not a stupid reason for most, though perhaps you feel that way.

BJJ is fine.

No more gym for me, I don't have bullies anymore, my left rotator cuff is raggedy and now I am a black belt in model assembly and painting. Currently doing a P-51 Mustang and it gets me rock hard

Youre plenty big for BJJ. Royler Gracie, Royce Gracie, Eddie Bravo, Marcelo Garcia, all near your size. BJJ is a soft art, no impact except for falls. You'll do great.

>he thinks martial arts are like movies that give you unlimited strength

Yeah, and then those bullies come with 5 guys and metal pipes and then you get beaten into shit
if that would be only metal pipes, they will carry long knives, machetes and sometimes even guns. Your martial arts is worthless against that since one hit and you either got injuried in the chest and can't move and breathe and just lie down while losing blood or they just kill you instantly with a gun. Also attacking guy with machete will mean you will lose your hand or two.

In Karate, styles matter more than schools. Kyokushin's style of sparring is very respectable and most schools are good. Shotokan on the other hand....... some schools are legit some are McDojos. Very hard to find.

Lyoto Machida is a shotokan karate black belt and used it as his primary style in MMA with great success, but his father is a famous and respected master so..... yeah. Muay thai, boxing and kyokushin are more reliable.

I did martial arts but unfuckingfortunately I didn't use it on my bullies
martial arts didn't help me from getting rid of my mentalcel so that I could've physically beaten those fuckers

No, those are not stupid. But you barely addressed all but the last one. Also,

Yes. Yes it is. But not as great as Ameri-To-De!

Just because the bullies are gone doesn't mean others can't arise. Also what the fuck does your career have to do with growing up?

I used to think like this, but I realized it's just a cope. How often do you have to fight? Almost never. All you have to do is look intimidating/normal enough to not become a target.

Or you can fight once, win hard, and then never have to fight again. Were you bullied?

Life isn't a fucking hollywood movie you autist. Reality is much different than whetever horseshit you feed us.

I was never bullied. I'm long out of high school. As long as I look intimidating or tough enough nobody will mess with me. But if I walk around flashing an expensive phone and clothing then minorities might try to make a target out of me.

But if you're being bullied in high school then I would recommend you fight and win hard, use weapons if you have to but you will have to face the consequences. But when you're out of high school you will rarely ever get in fights again unless you look for them in bars or clubs.

Thus the thread is aimed at young teenagers facing bullying, which offers more of a threat to their self esteem than actual physical risk.

This type of bullying lasts right about until the end of college, at which point it won't fly in a work environment or most places for that matter without getting cops involved and risking getting fired.

How did you become so low inhib in college? Teach me.

OP you seem like a really honorable guy. I like how you're encouraging this as only for self defense and even to fight back in a way to not to do permanent damage to your attacker.

It is very refreshing.

I was hesitant about martial arts because I'm concerned about breaking my nose/getting a tooth knocked out and making my looks worse.

I know you said BJJ training is not that brutal, but what would you say are the risks for injury such as this?

Do you also have any tips on how I know the dojo (or gym not sure what BJJ places are called) I would go to is an authentic one?

Keep in my mind I'm not a teencel so I'd be sparring with professional adults if I were to join.

I dont think I was. If we use the terms Jordan Peterson uses, thanks to martial arts I became assertive but I wasnt particularly conscientious or likeable, popular.

If I were to guess, I'd say I burned a lot of energy with BJJ and lifting weights and got rid of a lot of pent up anger and frustration, so I wasnt steaming in my corner. I was also confident thanks to my practice, so I just went about my business like most people do.

If you can fight, then you will naturally become low inhib I believe. You know deep inside you have nothing to fear from the bottom line of expressing yourself. Everything else is thus manageable

Those are kind words, thanks. Let me address your concerns:

It is unlikely you will break anything in BJJ, but some spazzy guys can maybe knee you in the face or something. You can wear a gumshield and you'll have no risk instead of very low risk.

Risks of injury in BJJ are associated with bad falls in takedowns ( you will learn how to fall but some people cant curb their reflexes to stretch out the arms for example) as well as some asshole cranking hard submissions and not giving you time to tap.

BJJ gyms are almost always legit, because it's a full contact art and to be honest after the blue belt it really is just metagame, meaning you train to fight against BJJ instead of real life. Any blue belt , with 1-2 years of training, knows everyting they need to grapple on the street and beat anyone 1-on-1 if the other guy cant grapple, regardless of size.

That said, if you don't know for sure, I recommend going to the respected franchises such as Check Mat, Alliance, Gracie Barra, ZR Team, Renzo Gracie, Gracie Academy, Lloyd Irvin, etc etc etc etc. Do a quick google search. And if you find a BJJ McDojo , call the nearest legit gym and they WILL come by, expose the fraud by whooping his ass, and publishing it online.

Sparring in BJJ is soft because good guys can manhandle beginners without breaking a sweat or making any effort whatsoever so you have nothing to fear. It's fun and safe.

You will have fun, burn a lot of calories and learn self defense and gain confidence. I can't recommend it enough for guys older than 25!

if you are going to train a "martial art" - train a real one, IE. a combat sport. If they don't use it in MMA, it's not a real martial art. the only real martial arts are: bjj, wrestling, kickboxing, boxing, muay thai, judo. anything else is bullshit.

Sane thread

I'd also recommend boxing.

High IQ suggestions

I am planning to join one very soon.

I like karate, alot of ppl also rate Tai Kwon Do and wing chun

yea cos martial arts is going to increase the size of your skull and put you on a level with chads reach

Violence is cope. You'll just get hit with legal fees and other potentially life ruining consequences.

I've been boxing for a over a year now and only do it to help keep my mind off depression.

Damn, I wish I knew a martial art at a young age. I still want to learn it anyways.

I was in Ju-Jitsu, got my "advanced" brown belt (brown belt with black stripe over it, basically one belt away from black) but was forced to quit because we had to move.

will still get mogged by Chad's face and he'll get sympathy sex after you beat him up while you end up in jail.

In case you haven't noticed, teenage bullies already form their own gangs.

Exactly, some stupid cunt at my high school used to bully me all the time, and I felt I could actually take him on and probably win. But what happens if I do win, and he gets his 3 black brothers (all 20+ years old, all spent time in jail) to come for me? They'd probably kill me.

This is good advice. BJJ and kickboxing dominate MMA for a reason.
