You'll never truly understand someone if you're aiming for complete harmony. To be more precise, you've never truly known a person in your life, only the part they choose to tell you, whether it's a distorted or fleeting glimpse.

Let me give you an example: you spend years trying to spend time with friends or family members who you genuinely want to hold you in high regard. You spend years adapting to their expectations, and it's never enough. You'll never achieve it because we are simply selfish beings with unrealistic expectations of life. For them, having you at the top of their game means having you close, but not more successful than they are, because, of course, you would put them in a less than ideal situation.

I've realized how true this is in life, and that in the end, you'll live a solitary life, with no one truly knowing you, while living alongside strangers.

(Don't take me too seriously; I haven't slept in 31 hours, but I needed to say this.)

Exact reason why I stop trying to people please.
