You shouldn't take anything written on reddit too seriously because it's full of losers who have no idea what they're taking about. Most of the people taking about computers and tech don't have any idea what they're taking about, they're just gamers who think assembling a PC makes them some kind of genius. Definitely don't take any car or mechanic advice from there, these people think changing out their brake pads (with some difficulty) makes them "mechanics".
And by extension of that, most of the people telling you to do this or that to impress females are actually bluepilled incels in denial or dudes dating asian foids or fatties.
