Towards the end of high school there were 3 exchange students who came over from Vancouver. One of them would always get to school very early like myself, so I went over to her. I asked her what her name is and didn't get a reply. I asked again and she kept her head looking away from me but her eyes glancing in my direction. I then asked about basic things like how is the weather in Vancouver. It was all 1 word replies, and she didn't even look at me straight the whole interaction. After less than a minute I just left without saying anything.
I can go into so much more detail about it. All the other interactions were similar to this.
