Because of the news that Rance series games *maybe* would get a Steam release, there's an influx of ranceposting from old fans and the new ones. And foids who have learned about him are SALIVATING.
Xitter of all places doesn't tolerate rape and filled with toxic people, who love to accuse of rape, but when a fictional chad does it in a video game? "ZOMG HE NEEDS MY BABIES". Saying shit like: "There's more rance female fans than male fans", even though it's one of the oldest eroge series in Japan, and probably everyone in those 30 years have played it. And yeah, I do not have anything against Rance games myself. Absolutely love it, and Rance himself is a good parody character of the traditional rpg tropes.
I just find it funny that many women would learn about it. The warlord and serial rapist is got be the best husbando of 2026!

I've read more into it, the shit is kind of hilarious. Rance fanbase have failed to gatekeep it, and now idk if it's the wokies who claim the rape game is feminist (cause it was made by a woman) or it's just the trolls using the situation to make more lolz. Plus there's many confused people who never heard of it or are fans of the series that didn't know, how to react to this. Wait for this to become even a bigger thing in the future
